Tourism is by far the most significant sector of the country's economy. Even though water availability and cultivable soil are ideal for agriculture in Lebanon, agriculture is still the least significant sector of the Lebanese economy. Main agricultural products include apples, peaches, oranges and lemons. Main industries include banking, tourism, food processing, jewelry, cement, textiles, mineral and chemical products, oil refining and metal fabricating and wood and furniture products. |
